To go down the Gorges de l’Ardèche in a canoe, you do not have to be an expert. You must be at least 7 years old and know how to swim. A good physical condition is of course preferable to travel the 24 or 32 km of river between Vallon Pont d’Arc and St Martin d’Ardèche.
Guests could try the initiation descent for all those who want to enjoy canoeing, landscapes, small beaches here and there and go under the Pont D’Arc in complete relaxation. After 2 small rapids and 1h15 of paddle your guests will arrive at the end of the course. The mini-descent is a discovery course of 2 or 4 hours. They are located next to the river Ardèche.
